The court said that the government not the special court had the authority to remove his name from the Exit Control List (ECL)as former had put the travel ban, according to the website of the channel.
The special court in Pakistan on Monday indicted former military President Pervez Musharraf in a treason case.
"Musharraf is accused of treason under Article 6 for suspending, subverting and abrogating the Constitution, imposing an emergency in the country in November 2007 and detaining judges of the superior courts," reported Geo News.
However, Musharraf rejected all the charges against him.
During the hearing, Musharraf said, “I do not expect justice from the present rulers.”
"I honour this court and prosecution, I strongly believe in law I don´t have ego problems, and I have appeared in court 16 times in this year in Karachi, Islamabad and Rawalpindi," he was quoted as saying by Geo News.
"I am being called a traitor, I have been chief of army staff for nine years and I have served this army for 45 years. I have fought two wars and it is ´treason´?" he asked.
Musharraf returned to Pakistan in March, 2013 after years of self-exile in the UK.
Musharraf rose to power in Pakistan in a coup in 1999. He had stepped down from the power in 2008 and was threatened with impeachment, which resulted in his self-exile.
